Hello, I have a WD My Passport Ultra. I have used it to back up my laptop which was running Windows 7. Old laptop died. New laptop is windows 10. I can see and copy the files from the My Passport, but the format means that the new laptop can’t open them! Can anyone help please?
Most backup software bundles files together into larger files meant only to be read by that software.
You’ll need to re-install that software and do a restore.
