My Passport cannot modify Backup

I installed the software and configured the backup which ran fine. Then went to change it and cannot. I click on the WD Backup icon and when I click settings nothing happens - nothing opens. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it says i already have a backup set and have to modify thru the Backup (wich wont open). Tried deleting the backed up folder on My Passport and tried again and still says already configured. Using Windows 7 Pro.
