I installed my new WD Blue 3D NAND Sata SSD and it shows up in my BIOS but it does not show up anywhere in windows. I have looked in device management, disk management and system info. I have tried numerous things but no luck. Is it possible the SSD is dead even though it shows up in BIOS or is there something I can do that I might be missing? Please help

If you’re mot successful getting help form WD, may I suggest going back to the retailer? I’ve often found that they can provide assistance when I can’t get it from the mfr although I will say that while my MyBookLive was under warranty, they did provide me with excellent tech support, though there has always been a glitch with Apple’s TimeMachine, OSX, WD Software & the MyBookLive. (There’s always something out of sync.)
