My new notebook can't reset password on my old passport 0730

I just bought a new notebook and also bought a new passport 0748. I installed the WD Security programme into it and able to set the password to the passport 0748.

Next I plug in my old passport 0730 hard drive into it and try to reset another password. WD smartware unlock appears on the screen and I entered the password to unlock it.

So I click on the WD Security programme on my notebook, the programme pops up and said can not recognize any hard drive connected and so I can’t reset it, what should I do so I can reset it? Anybody can help??

you might want to check wd’s knowledge base about using two external drives with smartware.  there might be issues with it.

Try connecting one hard drive at a time and try again.
