My My Cloud Home 4TB won't boot.

My original My Cloud Home 4TB device is no longer booting due to a hardware failure.
If I purchase another My Cloud Home (4TB) of the same model, can I move the hard drive to the new unit and access the data?
Has anyone tried this before? Any advice would be appreciated.
