Hi I bought a WD My Book 4TB external harddrive a month ago, had movies on it, but the Multimrdia player does not recognize it, working fine with disks of 1 to 2 TB (all WD). Note that these files are played OK on a PC.
Any idea?
Some multimedia devices and media players are not compatible with hard disk drives larger than 2TB. You would need to confirm with the brand vendor of your multimedia device if it can support 4TB disk drives, and if they need a particular configuration.
