My drive suddenly start clicking noise , I’ve important data in it what can I do to retrieve it. ? Please help me
If your drive is clicking I would strongly recommend not to power it up and look for professional help. This is not a DIY procedure to get your data with software. Heads had failed, and they can cause irreversible damage to the drive if its kept powered up.
This drive came in to us for recovery after it was left clicking for a while, and you can see the damage in the picture
what can i do ? it is in warranty can i send it to WD ?
WD can only provide replacement, they will not recover data for free. pm sent
