I’m having trouble accessing my files on my external hard drive. Everytime I try to open the folder all my files are saved and stored in it tells me I have to format the folder before I am able to use it. I have a lot of important documents saved on my external drive and I do not want to erase or format the drive. Please Help!!!
Try a data recovery software like TestDisk, Recuva or PhotoRec.
Try “Magic Cute”. This is an unbelievable tool. Will find even deleted files. For $ 39.- you will get a lot of Software and it is absolutely safe. It even let’s you clone a drive onto another drive. I really like this software.
