My essentials drive worked fine. the controller it plugs into inside the box has died. When I try to use this drive in my pc the computer wont recognize it.

Any thoughts or suggestions.

If the controller card is broken, replace it. If you need to recover your files you need to contact a professional data recovery company for this type of case.
