My desktop app for MyCloud EX2 is locked and can't access

Looking for help here. I have reset, uninstalled and reinstalled, but I continue to get “the desktop app is locked”. I can access my cloud from fine, but cannot get into my cloud from the desktop app.

Any other ideas?

When did you start getting this error message? Does this happen on a particular Network? Can you open the app from a different User Account?

This happened to me one time.I just did the following:

  • Close the Desktop App
  • Open the Dashboard
  • Click on Cloud Access
  • Click on your username
  • Locate the “Cloud devices for [user]” with your operating system and them delete it
    Then open the app again.
