My damaged WD

Dear all,

I´m desolé: my WD20EURS-63S48Y0 is not working anymore and I really want to recover my personal files (family photos and videos) from it.

They had told me I will need an exact same model to try to find the pieces needed to switch to mine and then, try to see in the lab could the info could be retrieved? That cost a fortune.

Any other ideas? Or someone who is the same case and we might exchange parts and recover both? Try to save some money…

Please help me, my family hates me…
