I have the My Cloud Home 6 GB. I have installed My Cloud Home Desktop app on my laptop.

Does the desktop application create local copies (cache) of content that I fetch from my cloud?
I see that the WD application has created a Mapped network drive (Z:).

For example. When I use Microsoft One Drive the desktop application creates a copy of the cloud data onto my local drive in my user profile folder (Windows OS).

If there is a local copy where on my computer would these be created? As I would like to delete the same.

no, what you see in the mapped drive is on the my cloud home not your computer.
