I have been trying to fix this for days. However when I try and get it to recognize it, I get an error.
The error is: No targets found" when using WD Backup and/or WD Smartware
I am following the steps below but get an error message.
- Go to Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Component Services.
- Expand Component Services.
- Click the arrow next to Computers.
- Click the arrow next to COM+ Applications.
When I right click on COM+ Applications I get an error message.
WD Backup and WD Smartware need access to COM+ Applications under component services.
I was told that when it is not possible to access the COM+ Applications, the WD Backup software or WD Smartware software will appear to be installed but will not be functional.
