I had tried to connect a 6 TB My Book through the USB to an older single drive 2 TB MY Cloud as an extra drive. But the system just went into a tail spin and the front light just flashes. There are no lights on the rear. I disconnected the MY Book and still cannot access the MY Cloud. I tried a 4 sec reset, still no function.
I am unable to access via the web portal and a network scan does no show the static ip assigned or even the MAC number.
I have it connected through a netgear unmanaged 8 port switch just as with all other equipment and this works fine.
any help appreciated.
