My Cloud not found in Windows - but can access it with ipad

I have connected my ne my cloud to the router. LED ist blue. On my router dashboard i see that it has got ip 10.0.0.6 (DHCP) and that the connection is ok. Within windows i cannot find it. Neither via WD My Cloud, WD Discovery nor via Browser when entering the ip-adress (website cannot be found). I’ve then tried to acces it via an ipad (connected via WLAN). And it works. I have access to the dashboard. I’ve tried to deactivate windows firewall and Kaspersky IS. But it was not found as well in windows.

Any hint for me? Thanks in advance!

Is the MyCloud in the same workgroup of the PC?

Hi,

yes they are both in the same workgroup.

In the “network-view” of windows my computer and WDMYCLOUD is found. When I click on WDMYCLOUD i get the error message: “… could not be accessed… network adress not valid”

Does this help anything (ipconfig/all)?
