My cloud not backing up data

We recently had to switch out our router for a new one because the old was defective. Windows 7 Pro on all computers.

One computer will not back up data no mater what I do. The other 2 are fine.

We did have an issue of mycloud not showing up in any of the backup targets that seems to be solved for now.

Is it a matter of just deleting the backup configuration on the problem computer and starting over with a new one?

Let me add that mycloud shows up as a target in the backup, and backup is “enabled”. I try a manual backup and it says it is copying files. But no files since 2/13 show up on mycloud.

backup data from where to where?  from the mycloud to your PC?  via the WD smartware?   If so maybe uninstall the software and reinstall and check the paths again to where your data

I’ll go out on a limb here … let me assume that you name your 3 computers a, b, and c. Everything concerning backup and files seen on MC are just as you expect for a and b computers. If this is true then I think you’ve answered your own question with “deleting the backup configuration on the problem computer and starting over with a new one”:wink:
