My Cloud Mirror + Xfinity Gateway 2 -- Should I reset my NAS?

Prior to Xfinity upgrading me to their new X1 system and a Gateway 2 last week, I had one of their older Motorola modems connected to my Dlink DIR-665 router. Everything worked perfectly.

Now, my new Gateway 2 (which serves as modem, router, telephone whatchamacallit and God-knows-what-else) doesn’t see my My Cloud Mirror at all. I’ve tried different ethernet ports and several RJ45 cables to no avail. The Gateway sees anything else I connect to it except my My Cloud.

At this point, I’m lost as to what to do next. The only thing I can think of is hard-resetting my My Cloud to see if this solves the problem, but does this mean I will lose my data or my RAID 1 setup?

Any advise or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Were you using a static IP for the My Cloud when you had it connected on the old router? You can try pressing the reset button on the back of the the My Cloud mirror and it won’t delete your files, it will just restore the configuration back to default.
