I have been experiencing constant issues with my My Cloud EX2 Ultra. I use the NAS to stream music while I am at work, but I have encountered some problems. The music will start playing, but between songs, it stops loading.
# 1. When accessing the NAS via a web browser, it will play about 4 to 5 songs before getting “hung up,” as if it is trying to load the next song but fails to do so. The “loading circle” in the lower right corner does not clear itself and will not load any more files.
#2. When accessing the NAS via the My Cloud OS5 app, the NAS will stream for 4 to 5 songs before an error message pops up: “Audio Playback Error. Not able to play the selected track.” If I close the application and reopen it, I can access the track, but after about 4 to 5 songs, I get the same error again.
The My Cloud EX2 Ultra has been updated to the latest firmware (5.30.103), but I was experiencing the same issues before that update.
I don’t think it is the NAS itself, as it works perfectly if I use the Play-Fi applicaiton.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to stop these errors from happening.
