My Cloud Home

I have used a My Cloud device for about the last year.

Recently I have been unable to access it remotely using a iPhone or iPad. I am repeatedly told nothing is here, yet when I view the settings and available storage I have used .23 of a Tb.

What am I doing wrong? This was supposed to safeguard my photos and documents and allow remote access. I am struggling to get access at home on the same network
