I am quite disappointed with the product, due to lack of one simple thing that really complicates my work. It is not possible to download multiple files at once. How am I able to download 700 photographs one by one?

I was trying to connect my google account but it actually does not work two ways. You can only import files from these accounts so no solution there. I guess it is back to dropbox for me.

Please know that My Cloud Home is a Personal Cloud Storage drive designed for ease of setup for the novice user with focus on remote access to the data stored on the device. It is important to know the My Cloud is intended to be directly connected via built-in Gigabit Ethernet interface to a Gigabit router with Internet access. Access can be accomplished through mycloud.cm, WD Discovery, and My Cloud App on mobile.

Can I download whole folder (with sub-folders and files in it) at once?

it sounds like you are using the web browser access. Install WD discovery on the computer and sign into your my cloud home account. This will mount the private user space as a drive on that computer and you can drag and drop as many files as you want just like any other drive attached to the computer.
