My Cloud Home Time Machine Backup stopped working

Suddenly MCH couldn’t be found to continue my backups with time machine. When trying to select it again from Available Backup Discs with guest access as stated, I get an error message OSStatus error 2. Do you know how to fix this?

are you connecting as a registered user or as a guest? the my cloud home only supports connecting as a guest. if you are trying to connect as a registered users this error can come up.

interesting. this message typically is in reference to the credentials used to connect to the disk. Have you tried turning time machine off, rebooting the my cloud home, rebooting the computer, and then trying to reconfigure the backup? are you having any other connectivity issues with the my cloud home?
