My Cloud Home Issues

Hi. I purchased a My Cloud Home WD drive 2 TB about 2 months ago. It was working fine up until I recently added some files. I have a WD My Passport Ultra external drive plugged into my laptop that decided to malfunction and delete all of my folders. Luckily 95% were backed up to My Cloud Home. I decided to try and retrieve the files using Recuva and send them to My Cloud from My Passport. Unfortunately, ever since, I have found My Cloud to be slow and unresponsive.

I have since formatted My Passport and now want to copy all files from My Cloud to My Passport - but it’s so slow and unresponsive it’s driving me nuts. I’ve restarted done updates and restarted everything, but no change. Please help.
