I have searched and not seen anything concrete. I have had nothing but problems trying to do this. I am using the My Cloud Home as an external hard drive and it seems there is not really a good way to back it up (wirelessly i dont want a second drive plus you can’t export that way anyway).
am i missing something obvious or is it really not meant to be a primary external hard drive.
You can use the Windows or Mac Time Machine to create backup on My Cloud Home. Also you can import the all data files connected in external USB drive when connect it with My Cloud Home.
