My Cloud Home Auto Camera Backup Not working At All

Hi,
I have a My Cloud Home and the backup feature from my Android phone is not working at all. It worked for some time but now, no picture is uploaded, without any error message. No folder is created on the drive. Doesn’t work on wifi or cellular.
I already followed the steps in this troubleshooting page, disabled and enabled again the feature, reinstalled the app… and nothing https://support.wdc.com/knowledgebase/answer.aspx?ID=20083&s=
It may not be relevant but I don’t have the setting “background uploading” included in this screenshot.

The page above seems to suggest that Android 8 is unsupported? That would be unfortunate. Android is the most popular OS and photos backup a major selling point.

I noticed I’m not the first one to complain about this problem on the forum.
