My Cloud Home 2.0.1 or 2.0.3?

Hi,

When visiting this website: http://releasenotes.mycloud.com/, it reads that My Cloud Home is at version 2.0.3 since September 25th.

When visiting the https version https://releasenotes.mycloud.com/, it reads the latest version is 2.0.1 dated May 2018.

When going to the firmware release notes though it still noted 5.0.3-103.

It is not clear what My Cloud Home version refers to and the novelties aren’t clear either.

My Cloud 2.03 is the release version
My Cloud 5.0.3-103 is the version of software/firmware installed on the MCH that you see in the Mobile and Web App
My Cloud 2.0.2 (775) is the iOS / Android mobile app version
My Cloud 1.5.0.84 is the version of the Desktop App installed with WD Discovery
WD Discovery Version should be at 3.0.384 (from the auto update)

I can give you answer only for this part:
My Cloud 1.5.0.84 is the version of the Desktop App installed with WD Discovery (My cloud will auto update to v2.1.0.193) if you have a problem change a language and open again wd discovery this work (when auto up date will be installed you can change a language on regular one for you)
WD Discovery Version should be at 3.0.384 (from the auto update)

@MRV wrong thread. This one is about the confusion of MCH firmware and the numbers that are posted in the release notes.

Hi.
Thanks for trying to clarify.
But I don’t get it.
What does the version of My Cloud Home refers to. What has changed on September 25th? What was updated if the firmware is unchanged?

Anyone for clarifying, the webpage still shows up two different things whether it’s http or https…
