My Cloud Goes to Sleep

Hello–

New to the forum.

I bought a My Cloud for my son to use while he’s in college. He’s in Idaho and the My Drive is in my house in California. Sometimes he cannot access the drive to save files via the web interface and I have to power-cycle the drive locally.

Is there anything I can do so the drive never goes to sleep, or at least it wakes up when an access request comes in?

Does this happen with he web access, the app or the mobile app ? Also would like to know the error he gets when you have to restar the drive.

When he tries to access via the web from his W10 Windows Surface. It just spins and never connects.
