I have read many articles and tried so many things but I just cant seem to get my FTP transfer speeds to gigabit speeds so I am turning to the community for some help.
To cover my scenario, here is how my connection goes:
Virgin media ISP modem to google wifi router. Google wifi router to first 8 port gigabit switch and from there a cat 6 going to the second gigabit switch where my WD My cloud is connected.
When I plugged my laptop into the second switch where the WD My cloud is my local adapter shows me that the laptop has a gigabit connection however when I transfer a file over FTP using File zilla i only get max 10mpbs.
I am stumped and cannot for the life of my figure out how to get full speeds on this. Any advice would be really appreciated.
