Please could someone assist and advise, I received my new My Cloud EX2 Ultra drive. Upon setup if not used it would go to standby mode, sleep and be silent.
This all occurred before I transferred a lot of data. Since I’ve transferred about 500GB of video, 100GB of music and numbers GB’s of photos.
The hard drive now tends not to go in sleep low power mode despite this being setup in the admin control panel.
I’ve read some topic that the drive is scanning files and making thumbnails etc, is this normal, how long does it take and can you turn it off.
Anyones ideas or advice would go along way.
