My Cloud EX2 Ultra (OS5), USB Backups App problem

The USB Backups app partially installed on my devise. I can neither unistall nor configure it. I have done resets (4 and 40 seconds), I have manually reinstalled the firmware and quick restore. Non have helped. I need to do backups of my data and manually transferring data to a usb drive is simply so time consuming that makes it not feasible on a regular basis.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this problem.

I have recently been experiencing the issue as well. USB Backup app on my EX2 Ultra is just partially installed, neither config nor uninstall works and it does not show installation date. KBA article does not help. Any iday how to force re-installation of app? Can the bin file be found somewhere for manual installation?

I once had a similar problem and a manual app re-install did the trick. Here’s a link to the USB Backups app.
