My Cloud EX2 - System Shutting down error please help

I would say daily I have been getting the above notification of the error. Why am I getting the error

You should check after the power cycle of My Cloud Ex2 Ultra.

Its a Mycloud ex2, not the ultra model. I have tried to restart through the dashboard. I not only have system shutdown error but have frequent notification of firmware update almost everyday. On the dashboard I have the latest firmware. I dont want to lose any data…Please help stop the insanity

I have done this several times and still getting this stupid error. Any other sugestions?

You can reset My Cloud EX2 to default which configures My Cloud to default and reconnect with My Cloud server for better performance.
