Hi All,

New to the group.

Thinking about purchasing the My Cloud for wifi backup of my home PC.  Just a few questions I’m not sure about.

1.  Does MyCloud encrypt the backups?

2.  If I plug another USB external drive to mirror the MyCloud, can this volume be encrypted?

3.  Is it possible to put 2 USB external drives on rotation to MyCloud. Example “A-drive” is mirroring, “B-drive” is off site; then at the end of the month rotate, “B-drive” is mirroring, and “A-drive” is off site.

the drive does not support encryption or have the horsepower for it, you would need to do the encryption/decryption on the PC
