My Cloud Duo Offline or Rebooting all the time

Hi fellow users, I am new to this, having just bought it yesterday. The initial set up was fine and managed to upload many of my photos and files. However, during the process of doing so, I noticed that I will lose connection to My Cloud either on my mobile app or my laptop. The internet connection is fine as I am able to surf the web. The LED light on the machine is a stable white. Rebooting the machine helps for a while and then it lapses into the same connection problem once again. The cycle repeats. Seek everyone’s advice!
