I uploaded a lot of data to my My Cloud Home 4TB about 4 or 5 weeks ago. Since then it has constantly been ‘working’ (ie read/write). I’ve left it alone and have tried on/off but even though I’m not accessing any data it is still busy working away. Is this normal or can I put it to ‘sleep’?
Mine does the same thing, and I have maybe 5 files on the entire drive as it is new.
I did upload a large number of files and I would expect there to be a period of ‘indexing’ but this has been going on 24/7 for 4 or 5 weeks 
Mines is the same. I uploaded about 1Tb of data, which took nearly a week, which I found strange, and it just keeps “working”
An explanation from someone would be good
MyCloud has finally calmed down and is no longer ‘working’ 24/7. Not sure when it stopped…but all seems to be good again. Maybe it was just ‘indexing’ after adding/deleting/moving a lot of data and I was too impatient.
