My Cloud backing up files multiple times

Hi,

I have got the mycloud app on my iPhone SE and it is set to back photos up to my WD mybook NAS.

Skimming over the daft issues of having to have the app open, it does work.

However everytime I back it up (i.e. open the program) it seems to try and back up all of the photos, whether they have already been backup or not. So I am now getting several duplicates i.e. I now have IMG_6919 and IMG_6919 (1) and IMG_6919 (2).

As well as taking ages to backup every time it means I have a ridiculous number of duplicates being stored.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there anything I can do about it?

Hi dlp644,

If you have deleted or re-install the it will force the backup of all content again or duplicate files can occur to prevent the loss of content when the backup job is paused an restarted.
