I just downloaded my cloud back up and when I run the program I am only getting an option to backup to Dropbox. I am confused on how to keep automatic backups from my device to the NAS. Can someone point me in the right direction.
The single bay/single drive My Cloud (the subject of this subforum) uses Smartware to backup folders on one’s computer if using Windows. For Mac just use Apple Time Machine. Smartware can be downloaded from the WD My Cloud Support site: https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/126#WD_downloads
Or use a third party backup program (there are several free one’s) and point the backup target within the third party program to the My Cloud.
