If the My Cloud desktop app is not working then I will suggest you to use the device with mycloud.com website.

I see you have My Cloud, and not My Cloud Home. As this si the My Cloud Home forum, I suggest you try asking the same Q at https://community.wd.com/c/personal-cloud-storage/wd-my-cloud.
