Updated firmware to v04.05.00-342 the desktop app MyCloud Login failed to allow me to enter my user name, when I click on it the box turns blue with a drop box and doesn’t allow me to enter the user name. It does allow for the password which does not work on it’s own.
@Peterk2019 The Desktop app no longer works. If using Windows 10 then use File Explorer or online at files.mycloud.com .
The Desktop program has been End of Life since 2016. There is the following WD Support Knowledgebase article covering this issue.
