My Cloud 6TB NAS drive is full from Time Machine Backup share

My Cloud 6TB NAS drive is full from Time Machine Backup share. There is nothing else on the drive. The source drives for the backup only total about 2TB with everything on them including the operating system.
I am running Windows 10 and connecting to the drive by direct IP address through a Firefox browser window. An answer to a prior help request for this topic (Answer ID 9531) suggested deleting the " .sparsebundle folder", then starting a new Time Machine Backup with maximized size option. That would be fine with me.
The step-by-step instructions are simple to follow except that I am not able to view any files on the My Cloud drive from Windows File Explorer. The drive has 5 shares on it with 4 of them totaling just 30KB while the TimeMachineBackup has 5.7TB.
Would deleting the TimeMachineBackup share from within the WD My Cloud interface window accomplish the same thing as deleting the sparsebundle folder?
