My Cloud 5 - USB 3 external drive access in app?

How do I access an external USB 3 attached drive connected to my EX4100 through the MyCloud5 app?
This was easy in MyCloud3 app, but the external drive is not appearing as a connected drive in MyCloud5 app.
The drive is attached and seen in NAS dashboard.
I used to be able to transfer files from NAS to external drive using the App, but can’t find how to recognize an attached USB drive in MyCloud5 App.

Is this normal?
Or is this a setting somewhere?
Or was this feature removed?

The issue is not that the USB is not being recognized by the NAS. It appears as expected and is not locked.

The issue is that the USB is not being displayed in the MyCloud5 Android App. How do I get the drive to display in the MyCloud Adroid App?

I received the answer to the question being asked. This has to do with MyCloud5 app and Cloud Access user
