Trying to use Apple 10.7.5 timemachine with MyCloud. Get error 'The network backup disk does not support the required AFP features.

Took advice from forum and upgraded Mycloud to v04.01.01-413 Same error

then

Took advice and upgraded to latest OS 10.10.1 (yosemite) still get the same error.

Please advise

Have you tried performing a System only restore? If not, please see page 109 of the user manual.
