i have a two year old my boook world that seems to be misbehaving. i suddenly lost access to more than half of my folders. some of the folders appear with X’s next to them. this happened once and i did a reboot and the files reappeared but now i cant seem to get them to reappear. any ideas? thanx
Hi there, if a reboot is not helping and considering that this is not the first time to happen to you, it’s possible that your NAS is going bad.
What if you try a data recovery software? Any free software that reads EXT3 (The file system of the MBW) should help, then replacing (If you’re still under warranty) would follow.
