I have my MY Book external drive set to keep 5 file backups which it has done sucsessfuly for a couple of years, but now it will not complete a back up because it says it is full. Does anybody know why it is not overwriting the oldest back up

Hi londongirl51, welcome to the Community. If you are using Smartware to backup your files, it wont delete them. You can manually delete old backups from the Smartware backup folder (smartware.swstor).

Hi jubei04, thank you for your quick reply I will go and do that now, I was under the impression that when full it deleted the oldest copy automaticly
