I just installed my 4TB Mybook World on my Gigabit LAN.
I am transferring 1TB of movie files from my PC onto the drive (mirrored, NTFS).
I’m only seeing 10 MBps. That can’t be right, surely?
Please let me know what I am missing.

Sounds about right, the MBW has a Gigabit port but gets a bottleneck by the processor.
Wow. Are you saying I will have the same poor results if I connect with USB2 instead of via LAN?
You can’t use the USB port to connect it to the computer, that USB port is to connect something to the MBW (Like a USB drive to be seen as another network share).
