My Book World legacy blue rings

I have My Book World (blue rings) Model WD10000G032. it has suddenly stopped working. When I press the “On” button the blue LED rings do not come on at all. I can hear a faint clicking about every 0.75 seconds.  Is it the power supply that has gone? Or the 1TB disk? I hope the former!

Can be either, the best way to confirm is with another power adapter. If you’re still under warranty then WD should give you another one.
