I am new around here so could u Please help me

I have a my book world edition 1tb and I would like to know how to connect it to my pc locally not over a network

I have tried Ethernet but don’t know how to make it work. All it shows is unidentified network

Did you tried to map the drive? even though its connected locally, you need to map the drive.
