My Book World Edition II won't mount due to "DataVolume has reached full capacity."

I have a My Book World Edition II White Light.  I use it for original storage and Time Machine Backup on a Mac System. It has reached it’s full capacity and now won’t mount.  I’m connected directly via ethernet.  I can access the software via my browser.  The WD administration page gives me the warning that my Data Volume has reached full capacity!"

PLEASE PLEASE can anyone help me?  Is there a way to force mount this 4 TB or access it in any way so that I can remove enough files for the HD to mount again.  I have 20 years of stuff on this ‘fully secure and redundant’ hard drive.

I tried connecting a USB external drive.  Still nothing.  Tried using Time Machine to remove files.  It won’t work.

Here is the recent log in case it may help someone know what’s happened and how to fix it.

use putty and login as root to the mbw IP. my mbw is connected to my router btw.

I’m on a MAC.  Is PUTTY available for MAC?

i dont think so. i did a yahoo search and it said to try spackle http://sourceforge.net/projects/spackle-ssh/ log in to your mbw ip, root is user, welc0me is pwd if you havent changed it. (# 0 is in welc0me)

just use terminal? (:
