Hello!
Seems like I have a big problem. I just had a power blackout, and after rebooting, my MyBook folders cannot be accessed from the windows explorer anymore. Volume Status in my Network Manager says “Failed” for DataVolume. Windows Explorer says it cannot connect to “Public” and “Download”, the default folders. I already tried resetting and/or rebooting the Drive, but it won’t work. Help anybody, please?
I have Windows 7 Home Premium and My Book World Edition 2.
HI there, since you have a World II, if you have a RAID 1 (Mirror) then take one drive out, zero it with DLG and then put it back in to try to rebuild the RAID.
If you have a RAID 0 or the above didn’t work then rebuild the whole RAID,
Hi!
I’m sorry, this was a typo. It’s MyBook 1, with 1 Terabyte. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Don’t worry about it, but if that’s the case then all is left is to do a factory reset on the web interface> Advanced mode> system> configuration> restore factory default.
If that doesn’t work then you’ll have to replace the drive…
