My Book World Edition 2 white light

I have a My Book World Edition 2 white light which is about 3 years old. I have recently purchased an OKI MC562 multi function printer / scanner. Can i (and how) set the drive so that the scanner can scan directly to a folder without me having to have the computer on to scan?

Any help would be great.

I recommend you check the printer owner’s manual to verify if it is capable of doing this. The My Book will be available on the network for any device that has the capability to access it.
