My Book World Edition II connected with MacBookPro on My Capitan until yesterday without problem

Then I started receiving message “The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “Public” can’t be found.” Now I can’t access the shares. Any clues?

Are you able to access the interface of the unit?

If you are able to access the interface, confirm that the file sharing settings are properly set.

Does resetting the unit makes any changes?

Thanks - I finally got it to work by just going to Finder Go Connect to Server then inserting — smb://mybookworld smb://mybookworld. The took me into the folders.
