Hi all

is it possible to conntect a My Book WE 6tb directly with a WB TV Live (without a network Router inbetween) ?
I that case, how do I set up the IP address and on which device ?

Nope. You can connect USB drives directly into the WD TV Live but not  network drives. Currently supports drives up to 3 tb as far as I know.

I did know about the USB … or lack of USB use.
However, I was refering to the Ethernet connection.

Yes I took the hint :wink: But the answer is no. Ethernet is on MBL is only for network connection, in regards of the MBW you can connect to a PC trough ethernet, however it will not work with another device with that interface.
